Street Fighter X Tekken Release Date Set For PS3 And Xbox 360
We already knew that Street Fighter X Tekken will be released for both PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, but when this will happen remained a mystery and everyone started to debate about the release date, on some forums appeared a few rumors about a release sometime in the last quarter of 2011. But, a few days ago Yoshinori Ono ( producer at Capcom ) talked with the guys at Famitsu ( a magazine based in Japan ), and told them that we should not expect the Street Fighter X Tekken game to be released in the next 2 years. So, this means that Street Fighter X Tekken will hit the store shelves somewhere in 2012 and if you’re waiting for other details on the PS3 and Xbox 360 release, you shouldn’t expect them until the next year.
Street Fighter X Tekken is a game produced by Capcom and it is a crossover fighting game, because it contains fighting characters from Tekken and Street Fighter popular fighting game series. The mechanics of the game will be based on Street Fighter because Namco ( company that produced Tekken series) decided to work on the licensing of the Tekken characters.
At Comic-Con 2010 was presented a short gameplay teaser that showed Ryu ( Street Fighter ) fighting with Kazuya Mishima ( Tekken ) and Nina Williams ( Tekken ) with Chun-Li ( Street Fighter ). It managed to please the people who saw it and the hardcore fans of Street Fighter and Tekken can’t wait for new details on the upcoming game, not to mention that when the game will receive an official release date they will head immediately to online stores and pre-order Street Fighter X Tekken.
