We already told you that Google offered a free Android phone to all 4,000 attendees for the I/O Conference. The phone it’s a HTC Magic aka Google Ion, it runs on Android 1.5 Cupcake and it’s not a release version, but works just great. I bet they did that as a publicity stunt and to take profit of all the attendees and test the phone before the release.

I got one of these, i brought it to my home country (Chile) but i cant get it to wor kon the 3g network, it only works on edge. Does anyone know how to change this configuration?
