According to Fortune Magazine, the Palm Pre will sync with iTunes, excepting the DRM songs, working exactly like the iPhone and iPod. If the guys at Fortune are right, it might be a great move for Palm, grabing more and more enthusiasts and becoming a real threat for the iPhone.

It’s known that Palm Pre can not reproduce ACC songs that are protected, but it’s much more important that it can synchronize with iTunes. If Palm Pre really does this, then it could beat Apple at its own game and with its own toys, if Apple doesn’t change the iTunes, so Palm will not be able anymore to access it.
