Sony has been the first who announed 20 million members, and now Microsoft has just announced that they sold 30 million Xbox 360s and that there are 20 million Xbox Live users, which means Xbox 360 generated over $15.5 billion in sales.

Third party game developers raised $5.9 billion in game sales, each user owning an average of 8.3 games. It seems like the New Xbox Experience last year had proven very good for Microsoft, who saw a 136 percent increase in new members since then.
