A few days ago the Android 1.5 Cupcake was found somewhere into the wild and T-Mobile G1 users from the US could have installed it at their own risk while doing some risky stuff with they smartphones. Well, T-Mobile didn’t officially announced the Cupcake, but there are a lot of users who were prompted to install the Android 1.5. It is clear now that T-Mobile has begun distributing the Cupcake OTA and this couldn’t get any better.

T-Mobile G1 users have been expecting the new OS for a while, and it is now finally availalbe. The Android 1.5 Cupcake will bring many improvements to the e-mail and messaging services, an improveed UI, a virtual keyboard, and 3rd party widget support among others. If you didn’t get it by now, I’m sure you will receive it soon and I’m sure you will like the new OS. We are more of BlackBerry fans, and we would like you to let us know how the Cupcake works. From what I’ve seen, the Android is great and it can monopolize the market because of the cool experience that if offers.

Got my 1.5 update overnight. On fist boot, I still got the process.acore failing message, which started a week ago. I’m in DC metro btw.
