Sony Ericsson Satio, The 12-Megapixel Smartphone Coming This Fall
At the MWC 2009 we’ve seen a very interesting cellphone from Sony Ericsson which was called Idou. Well, months later here comes the 12-megapixel smartphone from Sony Ericsson which was rechristened into Satio. The Sony Ericsson Satio is a great looking cellphone with a 12.1-megapixel camera and a capacitive large touchscreen with 16,777,216 colors. Another great thing is that Satio will be based on the 5th Edition of the Symbian S60 OS and there should be a plethora of apps for it that will improve your user experience.

The Sony Ericsson Satio measures 112 x 55 x 13 mm, and it weighs 126 grams. The smartphone and its 12.1-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and intuitive touch-focus, will come along with a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen with a 16:9 ratio and a 360 x 640 resolution, and a microSD card slot that will provide shelter for a 8GB memory card.

Sony Ericsson Satio will be available in three colors – Black, Silver, and Bordeaux as of October. The pricing remains unknown but it should be revealed soon. Well, don’t worry about the phone’s weird shape at the back as you definitely need some room for the 12-megapixel camera. Check out the pictures and let us know which color is your favorite!
