Sony Ericsson Aino Can Be Connected To Your PS3 via 3G
Earlier today we reported that Sony Ericsson has unveiled Satio, but here comes another interesting smartphone from SE. It’s called Aino and it features a 3.0-inch 240 x 432 pixels TFT touchscreen with 16,777,216 colors, and a 8.1-megapixel camera. Well, 4-megapixel less than Satio, but the phone has a lot more than that to offer.

Sony Ericsson has just moved into the smartphone category and they brought these touch-based phones, but I have to say that for their first batch… they did great. The Sony Ericsson Aino sadly features only 55MB of internal memory, but it comes with 8GB microSD card via an expansion slot.

The Sony Ericsson Aino measures 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm, and it weighs 134 grams. Although its a slider, it doesn’t come with a QWERTY keyboard but we can live with that. The Aino comes packed with wireless stereo headphones, and it will be available as of October this year in two colors, Obsidian Black, and Luminous White, but the pricing remains unknown for the moment.

Here comes the interesting part – the Sony Ericsson Aino features full PS3 compatibility which means that it can be connected to your PS3. Although it looks like a genuine PSP, it’s not a gaming device. You will be able to access your PS3 using Aino via 3G via an app called Remote Play so that you can stream photos, music, and videos from your hard-drive. Sounds great, isn’t it?
