Acer is well-known for manufacturing slim laptops. Not very, very slim, but slim, slick, and with a really cool design. However, rumors and some pictures show that the company will release even a thinner netbook which will be SSD-only. Recently, we noticed the trend of SSD-only netbook because these are cheaper. Moving on, Acer’s new laptop will feature a SD expansion slot, a Linux configuration, but it could also be based on Windows, or both setups.

If you look very closely, you will notice that the VGA and RJ45 port were designed for a motherboard to fit in a very slim laptop. For the moment, we don’t have any other details as the netbook wasn’t even confirmed by Acer. More to come, even pricing or perhaps a release date. Stay around and see!
