Folks it’s official that Verizon will launch a new OS for Storm users, and they are going to do it tomorrow. The BlackBerry Storm is a good smartphone, however, due to the poor operating system, many users returned it and called it a fail. Well, after months of waiting, Verizon will launch an official OS for the Storm 9530 smartphone.
The BlackBerry Storm OS 4.7.0.148 will be delivered OTA as of tomorrow by Verizon and it comes with many changes. Although there were many other operating system for the Storm, none of them was from Verizon. Many users reported that their Storm got better, but it wasn’t exactly what they expected.

I had some initial issues getting the software as my Storm is on Enterprise, so had to uninstall Desktop Manager, then reinstall as non Enterprise to get it to install the update. So far so good, and I am impressed with how fast my device is now! FINALLY!
