BREAKING: Microsoft Bing Is Now Live
Although it was supposed to go live on June 3rd, Bing has been launched today and it’s now available for everyone. You can start searching now and see what results it returns. For me the search results look a lot like the former Live Search, but Bing is still in early Beta therefore we should expect more of it soon. For the moment I don’t see anything revolutionary, although I must say that it returns the results pretty fast, just like Google.

Microsoft says that Bing will allow people to discover, find, and use information, however, I don’t see how this search engine can help us. The Microsoft Bing is cool when it comes to searching for images as the search engine features multiple options like the size of the image, the layout (square, wide, tall), color (color or black & white pics), the style (photograph, illustration), and people (just faces, head & shoulders, and others which could be useful when you’re searching for pr0n).
Internet users hate multiple pages. And this is where Microsoft decided to do a good thing. All the image results are displayed on a single page even there are 100, 500, 1000, 10000 or 100000 images. I’m talking about image searching because this is where Bing is great. You can zoom the pics to large, medium, small or you can choose to “Show image details.”

If you want to moderate your searches then there are three categories: strict to filter sexually explicit content using a strict filter, moderate using a moderate filter, and off which doesn’t filter the results.
Well, head over to the Bing website here, and let us know how was your Microsoft Bing search experience. Please note that now the Live Search website is redirected to Bing.

To test Bing, I typed in the name of my blog. Nothing showed up. It didn’t in Live Search either. Every other search engine I tried found it.
Microsoft’s new search engine still sucks.
it seems like Microsoft is having a search engine identity crisis
i am using both Bing and Google and i think both search engines give relevant search results. i would still prefer Google though, because it gives a little bit more relevant search results than Bing.
