During the E3 press conferences yesterday we’ve learned a lot of stuff, and we although we would have expected it, EA has announced that The Sims 3 will become available tonight. The announcement was made by the CEO of EA, John Riccitiello, who showcased the official trailer of the game, and said that The Sims 3 is getting a midnight release.
Riccitiello also said that they will present 12 games from 12 different developers, but I’m sure everybody is interested in The Sims 3 even if it was leaked on torrents two weeks ago. It was a big blow for EA as The Sims 3 was downloaded 180,000 times from the torrent websites.
EA’s CEO also spoke about Nintendo Wii, and he said that they definitely support the platform. Nintendo Wii users will be able to play Littlest Pet Shop Friends from EA which should be available soon.
