Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach (w/Trailer) Announced at E3
This year’s E3 is in good shape, and it’s definitely one of the best shows ever. Here is another game idea that was announced at E3 2009 – Halo 3: ODST. Bungie Studios presented the idea of Halo 3: ODST as a sequel of the very popular Halo 3, and it consists of a Orbital Drop Shock Trooper which fights against Covenant invasions of the New Mombassa. The Halo 3: ODST will also feature a new multiplayer mode which will be called Firefight.

The invasions of the New Mombassa are taking place between Halo 1 and 2, while the Firefight cooperative multiplayer mode will allow a user to team up with another player so that they can fight against the enemies. The Halo 3: ODST will consists of a second standalone disc that features no more or less than 24 multiplayer maps for H3.
This is not everything as Bungie Studios also announced a game called Halo: Reach. Although it’s not official, Halo: Reach is based on a novel book by Eric Nylun from 2001 called Halo: The Fall of Reach. According to Bungie, Halo: Reach will be available sometime in 2010 while the Halo 3: ODST will go live as of September 22. Both games will definitely come to Microsoft’s Xbox 360, but meantime why don’t you check the Halo: Reach trailer above?
