The E3 2009 keeps shooting big news that make our hearts beat faster and faster. Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy XIV will be out sometime in 2010, and it’s going to the a MMORPG just like Final Fantasy XI. Square Enix will also launch Final Fantasy XII next year, but it won’t be a MMORPG like XI and XIV. The XIVth chapter of the Final Fantasy series will be available for Windows-based computer, and for Sony’s PS3, even if Final Fantasy XI was live for Windows, PS2, and Xbox 360.

At E3 2009, Square Enix released a trailer of the FFXIV, and a few screenshots of the upcoming FF14. We noticed that the action of the FFXIV online takes place sometime in the medieval times, but Chocobos and airships are still there and makes Final Fantasy XIV look like Final Fantasy XII.
