iPhone 3G S Pre-orders Sold-out, Says AT&T

The iPhone 3G S is coming on June 19 with a lot of new features that will definitely improve its users’ smartphone experience and their lives in general. After the release at the Apple WWDC 2009, AT&T announced the upgrade prices and everybody was shocked. The carrier will rip-off anybody who wants an upgrade, and many have predicted that this year’s launch will not be as successful as previous ones, however, the iPhone 3G S pre-orders are sold-out.

iPhone 3G S

It is now official that AT&T has “trained” their staff to tell customers that the iPhone 3G S will not ship at launch therefore any pre-orders made after Saturday 13th will be shipped two weeks later after the launch. According to AT&T, they already sold-out all the pre-order units of the iPhone 3G S therefore the carrier needs to refill their stock. This means that if you didn’t want to wait in line at physical stores, but you waited too long before pre-ordering the Apple smartphone then you will get your iPhone 3G S with a two week delay.

The good thing is that the iPhone 3G S will be available at AT&T and Apple physical stores, but the access time was changed. The stores will open their doors at 8AM, unlike the previous 7AM hour. Also the new iPhone 2009 will be available at Best Buy and WalMart stores on June 19.

If you are not willing to wait in a line and you will still pre-order as of today then AT&T will send you an email when the iPhone 3G S is in stock and when it will be ready to ship. Verizon iPhone? I still think it’s not coming, but I will be very happy to be proven wrong.
