Samsung B7610 Louvre Could Be The Omnia Pro
Samsung Omnia enjoyed a huge success around the world even if it’s a Windows Mobile phone. A few months ago when it was still Spring, we reported the alleged specs of the alleged Samsung Omnia Pro, however, nothing was confirmed so far, but we are expecting to hear more soon. A few days ago we got our hands on a bunch of pics of a smartphone called Samsung B7610 Louvre, and we were stunned to see how much it resembles the Omnia and the specs of the rumored Omnia Pro.
For the moment we can’t tell for sure if this is Omnia’s successor, but the Samsung B7610 Louvre features a 3.5″ WVGA AMOLED resistive touchscreen display, a 5.1MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, 3.5mm headset jack, 800MHz processor, 1GB of internal memory, microSDHC slot which can provide space for a card up to 32GB in memory, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, HSDPA/HSUPA, and microUSB support.
The Samsung Louvre B7610 is a sliding QWERTY cellphone which will be based on Windows Mobile 6.1 (with the option to upgrade to WinMo 6.5 when it becomes available) and two user interfaces – Pro and Media with a specially designed button which allows users to switch between them – TV-Out, FM Radio, H.264/DivX/WMV video support, DNLA support, and a 1500mAh battery.
According to the rumors, the Samsung Omnia Pro / B7610 Louvre will be released in early-fall as the smartphone has some issues with the ROM, but everything should be OK at launch time. Check out the screenshots below and tell us what do you think about the Samsung Louvre.
