iPhone 3.0 Problems Roundup: activation server down, mobile me service & mms not working
We’ve already told you that the iPhone 3.0 Activation server is temporarly unavailable, if you hadn’t already noticed. Along with this, the Mobile Me service can be sluggish or inaccessible at all, but this has happened last year too, once with the release of iPhone 3G and Mobile Me service, which caused outage for the server. Fortunately, things are better than then and if you try a few times, it will finally work.
Our readers asked us why doesn’t MMS work and there are a lot more asking here and there the same question. Well, the answer is AT&T is not able to support it for the moment and it should be available as of July or August.
Fortunately, all those problems are temporary or at least that’s what they say.

Well, I did what you said. Try over and over (well maybe you didn’t say that.) But hey it worked. After maybe 100 tries It is now updating.
After trying for the last two hours, I FINALLY got it to start the process……server working.
To get the update you have to open itunes without the iphone plugged in yet. sigh in to your account, when it ask for the update, then plug in the iphone, and push ok to get the update and ut should work. Or keep trying every 7 minutes.
