Flash 10 Beta For Smartphones Coming In October At Adobe MAX
Smartphone users have been waiting for good Flash support for years, however, it has been delayed many times. All we’ve got are rumors, but we do know that Flash for iPhone will be something special and different from Flash for other smartphones. However, according to Shantanu Naraye, Flash for all smartphones besides the iPhone is coming sometime between October 4 to October 7. The Adobe President and CEO forgot the mention that the Adobe MAX Conference opens its doors as of October 4 and closes them on October 7.
This means that at the Adobe MAX Conference, smartphones users will get Flash 10 beta which will boost mobile Web experience. According to Naraye, Flash 10 beta brings Flash support for Android, WebOS, Windows Mobile, and Symbian smartphones. Although Windows Mobile and Symbian currently have Skyfire and Bolt Browser, the Adobe CEO believes that Flash 10 beta will be better then the aforementioned options.
However, this is a great deal for Android and WebOS smartphones as users will finally receive what they want. Shantanu Naraye also forgot to mention how the hell they will optimize Flash 10 for all smartphones. Well, we wouldn’t want to spoil all the fun, but we cannot wait for decent Flash support for Android and WebOS smartphones.
