I’m just one of the people who thought that Twitter has no purpose, and no use. Well, I was proven wrong today as Shaquille O’Neal found out that he was transferred to the Cleveland Cavaliers via Twitter. At the news the whole US saw that The Real Shaq was traded to the Cavs, however, the basketball player didn’t see the news. Now Shaq has to thank Twitter for giving him the opportunity to find out what is going to happen in his career.
Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most popular user on Twitter as he has almost 1.4 million followers. When asked if he transferred to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Shaq responded that he doesn’t know. Just a few moments later another follower said that the basketball player found out that he was a Cavs player through Twitter, while Shaq’s response was “I kno right”. This clearly means that Shaq found out via Twitter that he is going to play for another team, but maybe it was just for fun as you can’t be transferred to another team without knowing.
After this weird moment Shaq didn’t make any comments about the transfer yet, but we’re waiting to see what he has to say. Now that Shaq was traded to Cavs, he is going to be a team-mate with LeBron James, one of the best players today and of all time.
