Motorola to release Android smartphones, to compete with T-Mobile’s my Touch 3G
Motorola has already announced their plans to release some smartphones using Google’s Android operating system and now it seems like both T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless will have those smartphones in their offers.
One of the smartphones will be a slide-out QWERTY smartphone with touchscreen, built on Android, that will feature all social networking applications needed. Both Facebook and Twitter will be included, along with a few more. Nowadays, smartphones designed for social networking are nothing new and it seems like Motorola wants to join the game too, though they won’t grab very much of the market share, in my opinion, because of the tough competition. This smartphone should be available at T-Mobile, along with the HTC my Touch 3G, which we already let you know about and reviewed.

Verizon will carry another Android based Motorola smartphone, with similar capabilities as the T-Mobile one. Slide-out QWERTY and touchscreen will be included also.
Currently there are only two Android powered smartphones, but later this year there will be dozens, which were already announced, developed by Samsung, Sony Ericsson, HTC and more.
