The Mozilla Foundation has officially released Firefox 3.5 final version. The latest version of the browser was expected by millions of users in the entire world who already downloaded it or are downloading it right now. According to Mozilla, this is the fastest Firefox version ever as it’s twice faster than Firefox 3, and 10 times faster than Firefox 2.
Mozilla Firefox 3.5 is safer as it’s based on state-of-the-art anti-phishing and anti-malware technologies. The Firefox 3.5 will become better in time as there are a lot of people working to keep you safe from newly developed “attacks”. The browser now features private browsing mode, and “forget this site” – two features that will allow you to surf without saving history.
Customization is probably the most important reason why people are choosing Mozilla Firefox. The latest Firefox version supports more than 6,000 add-ons that will improve your Internet experience. Mozilla Firefox 3.5 features enhanced Awesome bar, it’s more reliable, it’s the first browser that supports open video formats, and another cool thing is the tear-off tabs option which allows you to easily move a tab to another browser instance. Also if a plugin crashes then only the tab that runs the plugin will crash, while the browser will remain intact.
According to Mozilla, Firefox 3.5 is much better than Internet Explorer 8 and we will have to believe them. When IE8 was released, I was deeply impressed by the browser, but Microsoft’s product is now far behind Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Firefox.
You can watch Mozilla Firefox 3.5 downloads in real-time here, and the great thing is that the browser has reached 4 million downloads worldwide in the first 20 hours. When Firefox 3.0 was released the browser was downloaded 8 million times in the first 24 hours.
