After losing the iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre to O2, Orange UK is now listing the Toshiba TG01. Orange UK doesn’t have to be too disheartened by the loss of those two smartphones as the carrier will sell the HTC Hero and now the Toshiba TG01, or the only Snapdragon cellphone available on the market. The Toshiba TG01 will be available soon, and for the moment we don’t have the pricing and voice / data plans.

The Toshiba TG01 spec list:

• 1GHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM.
• 4.1-inch WVGA TFT resistive touchscreen, 3.15-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities.
• 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, Wap, WiFi 802.11b/g, GPS, USB, microSD expansion slot.
• Email, FaceBook, YouTube, Java, MP3/MPEG Player, Video Player.
• Windows Mobile 6.1 upgradeable to WinMo 6.5 when it become available.

If you are from the UK then you are very happy as you can choose between several smartphones, but I think it will be very hard to choose between the iPhone 3GS, Palm Pre, HTC Hero, and the Toshiba TG01. I guess it depends on your favorite carrier, and pricing plans.
