Big Fish Games Introduces Faunsphere
I guess there is no point in introducing Big Fish Games to you as you probably a large amount of time there playing games on world’s leading website for games and other interactive applications. Well, Big Fish Games has announced that Faunasphere finds itself in closed beta and it should go live soon.
Faunasphere is a browser-based MMO where players will adopt and take good care of a bunch of “cute” creatures called Fauna. Players will have to work together in order to build or even explore virtual worlds, but they will need Fauna for that. The MMO was developed by the lead designer of the “Asheron’s Call” and the good/bad thing about the game is that it’s based on a non-violent gameplay.
The game has received a lot of good critics as it features a touching storyline while social networking elements will make it even better. Faunasphere will be free to play, but players will have “access” to transactions, and premium memberships in order to improve the experience of the game.
In Faunasphere players will see their Fauna lay eggs when they level up while the eggs will be used to create another Fauna or to trade it with another player. There will be 12 Fauna breeds that can be adopted and taken care of, players can create shelters for their Fauna, collect items to improve their Faunasphere, and Fauna will fight against pollution and complete various tasks in order to level up among others.
