Palm Pre GSM Coming Soon To Movistar In Spain
The Palm Pre is on a “shopping spree” in Europe as a few days ago the smartphone was confirmed by O2 in the UK, today world’s first WebOS phone was somewhat confirmed by Movistar in Spain. Both O2 and Movistar are owned by Telefonica which means that the latter will do whatever it wants in the remainder of Europe thanks to a possible agreement with Palm over the Pre. Lately we’ve seen that the US DOJ will investigate the exclusive deals that major telecoms agree with phone manufacturers, but this won’t affect European countries unless the European Commission decides to copy the US model.
If you are from Spain and if you are a Movistar subscriber then I definitely recommend the Palm Pre to you. It’s a great smartphone, and it will get better. The WebOS gives a nice feeling, and unless you hate sliding phones then there is no reason not to go for the Pre which is coming soon.
