Earlier we reported that the Palm Pre is going to be available via Movistar in Spain thanks to a specially designed web page by Palm. Well, the whole thing is now official thanks to an official press release from Palm who said that the WebOS smartphone will reach Spain in time for holidays at Movistar. That’s not the only thing as the phone manufacturer announced that the Palm Pre is going to be available in the UK and Ireland at O2 (we knew that already), and in Germany also at O2.

The GSM Palm Pre is spreading in Europe and I’m sure it will be a success just like in the US. Consumers want a different smartphone with a good OS and this is exactly what the Pre has to offer.

Palm’s press release doesn’t say much, but the smartphone will probably released sometime in late November or early December in Europe. This date might change as the German page for the Palm Pre says that the phone is coming in October. There is no official date at the moment, but we should find out more soon.
