WoW Patch 3.2 Release Date and Patch Notes

August 4th, 2009

Several days ago when we last spoke about WoW Patch 3.2 the release date was unknown, but we knew that it’s near. It’s wasn’t that hard to know that it’s coming as Blizzard began pushing parts of the update for those who wanted. It’s a common thing, and it prevents Blizzard’s servers from crashing when a new patch is near. The WoW Patch 3.2 release date is August 4. Yeah, you read that right: today you’re going to get your hands on the Call of the Crusade patch, and you’ll probably be the happiest man alive. I dunno about you, but this feels like Christmas morning when all the presents are opened.

Although the date was not made official by Blizzard, a bunch of inside sources claim that the Patch 3.2 is coming today in the US. Also Blizzard didn’t announce the official WoW 3.2 Patch Notes, but they can’t be too different from the WoW Patch 3.2 PTR Patch Notes. A while ago we posted a WoW Patch 3.2 guide and you might wanna read that once again.

The World of Warcraft Patch 3.2 Call of the Crusade will come packed with Argent Tournament, class changes, items changes, professions changes, mounts and travel, Isle of Conquest, Devastate, Blood Surge, and an improved frame rate.

More info can be found here, here, and here.

  • Yea, it is true. This morning when I turned on WOW, about 7 am EST, it started downloading updates, and then a window came up and started downloading patch 3.2

  • Confirmed. I just downloaded it. Woot!! Now I just gotta wait for the realms to be back up after maintenance. Hopefully they won’t take as long to come up as the last patch. I’m soooo excited! Cheaper and earlier level mounts and a faster first flyer. Mmmm can hardly wait! :D

  • WOOO! PATCH DAY! ^_^ I was so surprised. O_O My first time playing in 2 weeks and suddenly it says “downloading” 3.2 and I was like….O-M-G!
