Xperl Addon Works Well With WoW Patch 3.2 Call Of The Crusade
Xperl is probably the most popular WoW Addon, and with yesterday’s release of the WoW Patch 3.2, how could we not get an Xperl update? Well, Curse didn’t release Xperl 3.2 Patch, but anyone can make it work. Xperl 3.2 would be the most recent update of the Curse Client (supports Curse Client 3.0 for Windows and Mac OS X), but how can Curse Gaming release an addon so soon?
Blizzard encountered some realms problem due to the WoW Patch 3.2, but like mentioned in an earlier post the servers are playable therefore you shouldn’t face realm issues anymore. There is only one problem left: lag. How can Blizzard solve it? Well, I don’t know that. Better servers?
If you want previous WoW Addons to work, including Xperl on 3.2 Patch then you should check “Load Out of Date Addons” and then login as usual.

When I got home and saw it was Patch Release Day, I was thrilled. However, when I went to log in after it downloaded, my heart sank. All bordering boxes and hints of my interface were gone. Nothing was highlighting. No tiny boxes were available to “X” to know I have checked it. When I finally signed into the game, my enitre UI was gone, replaced by squares and rectangles of various colors. Fonts and chat were still visible, as well as numbers of items in my bags, but I cant SEE anything in my bags, on my spell bar or anything thats part of my basic UI. All i could see was my character and SOME of the surriunding area. So, IU decided to explore a bit and found that when I moved into different areas, nothing was loading. Characters and backgrounds were just bright colored shapes. SOme would load though, but a majority would not. Went into the bank, same deal. No items in my bank except numbers aqnd text, no bordering box around where the normal bank area would be. So, I contacted Blizzard’s online help. They told me to go check my DirectX and make sure it’s current, offering me a link. The link didn’t work. So I tried it in different browsers…. same thing. Does this mean that my video card is no longer compliant with WoW because of the new patch?

Also, I DID reset everything to defaults even deleting ALL add-ons.
Still nothing.
having problems with mouse over target even tab targeting gives error very aggravating
I’m having the same problem with xperl. No matter who I click on I get an error.. Its the only addon I use
T: Here are a few things you can try.
#1 Click start -> Run (Then Type) “Dxdiag” (Without the “” Of course) -> Click ok
You should get the Direct X Diagnostic tool there you can see what Version of directX you are using and it should be a line something like this
“DirectX Version: DirectX 11″ <- this is mine as I am using Windows 7 However yours should Say Depending on your OS either 9.xxB or C Or DirectX 10 If you are using Vista.

Also there are a few other things that you should check like your video card.
Make sure you have the latest drivers for it here are the links to the3 major video card makers drivers sites.

(For the Intel site if you have this type of video card when you go to the link above, when the page loads on the left side will be a list of type of products to get drivers for click "Graphics" the select the type of card it is you would have)
Once you have updated your drivers make sure there is not a setting in your video cards control panel that might be causing this.
Usually you can reach their control panel by right clicking on the desktop in the menu that pops-up for ATI it should read "ATI Catalyst Control Center" For Nvidia it should read "Nvidia Control Panel" And Intel it should read "Graphics Controller" Or something like that.
Go into one of those and reset all your graphics settings to default and try and run WoW again.
I would also suggest that you rename your "Interface" & "WTF" dirs and start totally clean.
There are also many options in wow graphics settings that might help if you turn off or on I can post some suggestions for you if you like just post back and let me know how it went.
Now as for X-perl, ya wow blew it with this patch IMO the engineering recipes suck, as i am not going to make a Goblin Welding beam that will cost about 50g in resources to only get one use out of it to heal a siege tank for 7500hp forget that.
and yes poor x-perl and SpartinUI for the moment they are dead, Bliz again changed they Lua coding and I guess they have not told anyone about it in the PTR so no one had a update ready so it no longer reads the Unit Frames correctly.
Sigh…
They did it again and unfortunately Loading out of date addons does not work for x-perl it just errors every time you mouse over something, your player bar is gray with no portrait and just almost nothing works it is rather sad.
I can forgive blizz if they did this to help fix a cheating issue but I would have liked it if they would have let people know so they could have updated some addons.

It does not work and will give you 75-90 errors and keep going till wow asks you if you want to stop it from loading as there are so many errors it is slowing down the game.
I am hopping he does get a working version up soon though will continue to monitor.
And before people try and rip me I tested it with no other addons and no WTF dir on load so there was no other settings or addons for it to have conflicts with.

To Kira I had posted a responce to that so why did you repost his message as your own? did you try what i suggested to fix those video problems?
Has anyone actually found a working cure because the exact same thing has happened to me and it is really annoying and blizzard hasnt helped one single bit.

UI corruption, missing buttons and swirl marks on screen (Intel 965 Mobile chipset on Vista)
If you have an Intel 965 Mobile Express graphics card and notice graphical issues with the latest patch on Windows Vista, please first update your laptop graphics drivers from your laptop manufacturer’s support site.

This is really a great world of warcraft addons! I am currently using 3 addons on my character. I suggest that you guys read up on some of the guides for these addons as they can be hard to use. A good site to reference is http://www.hiddenstuff.com/ they have some good guides for world of warcraft.
I was having the same issues that the first poster had…everything was messed up..yet I contacted blizzard and told me it was my out of date driver…I tried downloading another one but it didnt work…option three worked…which is the one where you log into wow and type the command into chat…anyways it corrected the issue but it wont let me download any addons after I fixed it…does anyone know what to do about that??
