We Know Nothing About This Apple-Tablet-like Android MID, But We Like It

Lots of pictures of a supposed Android MID have surfaced on the web in the past few days. Nobody can tell exactly what the device is, but we sure know that this beauty looks a lot like a SmartQ5, or like an Archos tablet. As far as we can tell this is only a prototype device, but there a little chance that we may be wrong. Do we have to say that this Android MID looks a lot like the Apple Tablet? Well, it resembles most artist renditions of the rumored Apple tablet.

The good thing is that it’s a touchscreen MID that could provide competition to Apple’s tablet if the device sees the sunlight sometime in the future. This Android MID measures about 4.5″ long, and 3″ wide, it’s very slim, microSD card storage, possibly Rockchip CPU, MSN Messenger, GTalk, WiFi, and 3G.

The features above are everything that was rumored for the Apple tablet. Don’t get us wrong: we don’t think this is the Apple tablet, but  we think that someone decided to beat Apple with their own weapons. No problem, we don’t mind that. Check out the pictures below and let us know what do you think.

  • Great, but only if it has…

Mac OS X inside and video-out port on a 300 to 600 g small device tablet. That is all needed for success. The iPod touch is too limited with its crippled OS inside.

The MacBook Air is too heavy and large, besides being port-limited.

Or bring a MacBook Air mini at 1/4 the MacBook Air size, no more than 600 g and with real independent ports: video-out, Ethernet, Firewire, USB2, SD card.

Or bring them all: iPod TABLET, Mac TABLET and MacBook TABLET. This is certainly the best approach, for anyone to get any of them.

  • You are obviously a Fanboy. The only thing I see in ur post is apple, osx, mac, macbook,Ipod then U added tablet. Get Out of the cave noob!
