Kurt Cobain’s Avatar to Appear in Guitar Hero 5

If you are a Guitar Hero fan, you are going to love this. With only a few days before the official launch of the game (Tuesday), Activision has announced that players will be able to choose Nirvana’s lead singer and guitarists, Kurt Cobain as your avatar.This means that you can add just one more superstar to the exciting list that also features Carlos Santana, Johnny Cash, Shirley Manson from Garbage and Adam Levine from Maroon 5.
As a rock and a guitar hero fan, I can only be hyped up by the news that I will be able to imitate Cobain in playing “Smells Like Teen Spirit” or the live version of “Lithium”. But these are only two of the no less than 85 songs that will be on the playlist. Other hits include “Superstition” from Stevie Wonder, “All Along The Watchtower” from Bob Dylan and “Swearing Bullets” from Megadeth.
In addition, Activision has a special offer: purchase a specially marked copy of Guitar Hero 5 and you will receive Guitar Hero : Van Halen for free once it comes out.
Its kinda ironic because kurt cobain killed himself because he couldn’t stand his music becoming a corperate tool. and now it is.
