Halo Wars Movie On Hold Due To Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach
Halo games are one of the most successful games series in the gaming industry, and fans all over the world are waiting for the Halo Wars movie. The rumor about a Halo movie has been around for months now after it was said that Peter Jackson wants to produce the movie. When fans heard that, they went crazy. At first Microsoft denied that there are plans for a Halo movie, but eventually the company admitted that such a project has been considered.
You can only imagine the mass hysteria caused by this statement. However, Microsoft later said that the Halo Wars movie project is “on hold.” Rumors surfaced once again this month as Steven Spielberg has been touted to replace Peter Jackson (who is probably tired of Microsoft’s plans). Once again fans went crazy, however, Microsoft released a statement which said that the Halo movie “remains on hold.” The reason why Halo Wars movie is not going to happen soon is because the Redmond-based company is concentrating on other “projects like Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach.”
This ruins our dreams, but the good thing is that the Halo movie wasn’t canceled, and I’m sure everybody is waiting for the Halo Wars trailer. Sadly, we won’t see it anytime soon, but it’s better late than never.

“Halo Wars” is out. It’s a 30 minute long CGI mini-movie and is available at any torrent site for download. It is NOT the actual movie that is being talked about with Spielberg… that hasn’t started production yet.
RETARD, FUCKING RETARD, the Halo Movie was put on hold MORE than a few months ago, (Try Years) it is nothing to do with ODST(a glorified Halo 3 mission pack) or Halo Wars….
And it is doubtful Bungie or anyone else involved would put the game off for the reaqsons stated, the film company who gets the job makes it, not the games company so why the fuck would they put it on hold for the reasons you stated?
