Sony Unveils Vaio X Very Thin Ultraportable At IFA 2009

After Nokia World 2009 another even is being held in Germany, the IFA 2009. Although this one is not as interesting as the former, we’ve seen an interesting device there. Or so we thought it would as we were very disappointed by this thing. Under the current leadership of CEO Howard Stringer, Sony seemed to recover from a few bad years, but this is another sign that Sony is not feeling OK. After Sony Vaio P, Vaio Z, Vaio W, here comes Vaio X. Yeah, you heard this right: Sony has just unveiled a new ultraportable at IFA 2009.

This time we would have expected it to be better than its previous counterparts and Sony announced that this netbook will feature a battery which can last all day, and that it “will set the new standard for stamina.” The specs remain unknown, and all that we know is that the Sony Vaio X is a 11″ ultraportable with carbon fiber casing, probably weighing only 1.5 pounds. Going back to the battery life Sony disappointed everybody when announced that the Vaio X features an Atom processor. That’s like the lowest end possible…

Words are pointless. We’re just annoyed that Sony is still making expensive crap cause we’re sure that this device will cost a lot.
