Spotify Available For Free Download For iPhone And Android Smartphones

After Apple approved Spotify, the app is now available at the App Store for free, but only for premium members and only in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, and Spain. That’s good because it means that it should come to the US soon. Although Apple and AT&T both denied that the carrier has had anything to do with approving and rejecting apps, this is one of the biggest lies ever. Apple is doing whatever AT&T tells them to do. Google Voice Mobile was rejected because it duplicated features, however, Spotify, an app which allows streaming music offline, is also duplicating features, but it was approved.

The Spotify app for iPhone and iPod Touch allows users to access millions of tracks, search and stream music, create and synchronize playlists, and like said, it’s free so if you are a Spotify Premium subscribers then head over to the App Store and download the app.

Not only Spotify is available for iPhone, but it also features at the Android Market. The app is now available for download for free for premium subscribers in UK, Sweden, Norway, Spain, and France, while it’s coming soon in Finland. Spotify for Android smartphones does everything the app for iPhone does on an Android handset.

It is said that the Spotify for iPhone app doesn’t play music in the background while the Android version works just fine. Bad Apple, BAD!

They’ve been promising to bring Spotify to the U.S. for at least a year now and they still haven’t even come close to delivering.
