Nokia N97 Firmware 2.0 Looks Very Promising, And It Doesn’t Eat Memory
At the Nokia World event 2009 we learned that the Finnish-based company will released the firmware 2.0 for the Nokia N97, but we didn’t have a clue of what it will consist, neither that will be that good. Lately Nokia has been underestimated, but this was only the company’s fault. Now with the launch of the Nokia N900, the update on the Nokia N97, the N97 Mini, Booklet 3G, and the Nokia X6, it seems like the phone maker is back on track. And be sure that there are more to come!
The Nokia N97 firmware 2.0 will become available sometime next month, and it will come packed with chiefly kinetic scrolling, performance enhancements, bug fixes, more stock widgets, long press triggers alternate keyboard characters, and many others. The good thing? There is the same amount of memory available meaning that the firmware 2.0 is not a memory eater.
The slider smartphone is just going to be great after it has received the worst critics. Nokia didn’t get it right with the N97, but all pieces are now falling in their place. From now on things are about to get even more interesting. Check out the video below and let us know what do you think about the Nokia N97 and its soon to come firmware 2.0.
