Apple iPod Event 2009: iTunes 9 Unveiled w/ New Design and New Features
Apple said that the iPod Event 2009 is all about rock and roll, however, this was far from true as this was one of the most exciting conferences ever. The Cupertino-based company unveiled so many things, and oh, Steve Jobs was there with the keynote. If you didn’t watch the event, then you lost so many interesting stuff. Let’s begin with the new iTunes. Yeah, you heard that right: Apple has unveiled iTunes 9 which comes packed with lots new features and a new an unbelievable new design.
The new iTunes 9 features an improved store navigation with a better navigation menu, full window iTunes store, anywhere from from the iTunes store preview, iTunes LP with lyrics, videos, photos, liner notes and more, iTunes Extras, Genius Mixes (similar to a radio station), app management (finally, users will have a way to arrange apps on your iPhone or iPod Touch screen using drag and drop), home sharing (users can share files to up to five local computers), social media integration (users can send apps, music, or videos as iTunes Store gifts, add items to wishlist, or post them to FaceBook or Twitter), but the saddest part is that the new software breaks Palm Pre media integration. And this is not all as there are a lot of other devices that cannot be synced to the iTunes Store anymore.
iTunes 9 is available for download now, and anyone can gen it right away! If you don’t have a Palm Pre or other device then I recommend you to download the software immediately cause you will definitely be impressed by the new look and the new features.
