I don’t know how did we miss this three days ago. It’s such big news! Definitely the best Android powered smartphone ever, the HTC Hero has received its much expected ROM upgrade and it’s now officially available in Denmark. At the moment we don’t know if the HTC Hero software update is available for all users in the world, but we don’t think that you can get it if you’re from the UK. The HTC Hero new firmware is build 2.73.405.5 and if you’re Danish then please download this update and let us know how the smartphone feels now, and what’s new.

According to some inside sources,  HTC Hero’s new firmware is all about speed and we cannot wait for the HTC Hero to the US as of next month and it better feature this new update.

P.S. I know that the HTC Hero is fast, but I’ve seen some units being “somewhat” slow after installing a few apps, and running some in the background. The HTC Sense UI is great, and to be pretty honest: if I would give up on my BlackBerry Storm then I’d go for the Hero. Enjoy the new HTC Hero firmware people from Copenhagen!
