We’ve reported yesterday that Facebook Fan Check is a hoax that might infect your pc with a virus. Though there isn’t any official confirmation, people are still scared and we are trying to keep you updated, so you know what to do. What I can recommend for the moment is not to use the Facebook Fan Check application at all because the danger exists and you might also infect your Facebook friends.

Unfortunately there isn’t any official update on this, though hundreds of thousands of people try to find more about it. Another advice to keep you safe is not to download any software that pretends to remove the Facebook fan check virus because it may be a hoax too and infect your computer with more viruses.

For the moment nothing is sure, but I think the real reason to scare are websites that require you to download a software to remove the virus and not the application.
