H.G Wells Google Logo Today Explains All Recent UFO Doodles
Google finally explained everything to us after a couple of weeks surrounded by aliens and flying saucers. If you don’t remember or if you just don’t know then we remind you that the search giant unveiled a cool doodle on September 5th which was picturing a UFO that was abducting an “O”. Later on @google tweeted “1.12.12 25.15.21.18 15 1.18.5 2.5.12.15.14.7 20.15 21.19″ which meant “All your O are belong to us” and it represented a tribute to Zero Wing, a Japanese video game.
Ten days later on September 15th Google unveiled a new doodle which consisted of crop circles, and a flying saucer which somehow abducted the “L”. This was somewhat unexplainable although @Google tweeted the coordinates of Horsell Commons, or the location of the first alien landing in “The War of the Worlds”, a book written by H.G. Wells in 1898. We haven’t figured it out back then that Google was preparing to celebrate the 143th anniversary of H.G. Wells, but all was clear today when the new logo surfaced.
Herbert George Wells would be 143 today, and today’s Google logo shows an invasion of UFOs as a tribute to a man who envisioned extraordinary things that could happen to our beloved Earth.
Today’s Google doodle is great like always and it’s nice that the search giant pays a tribute to one of the best novelists in the world ever. Well, if you haven’t read the books then you probably seen one of these movies: “The Time Machine” or “The War of the Worlds.”
