You know Palm Pre right? It was the most expected gadget of the year, it came out before the iPhone 3GS this summer, and it’s a very powerful, cool, and useful device. The first webOS smartphone in the world was welcomed by the public and its sales are increasing every day. At the moment the handset is available only in the US, but this is about to change on October 13th as the Palm Pre will be available in Germany via O2.

And that’s not all. You wouldn’t think that O2 is only taking the phone to Germany, right? The Palm Pre is also going to be available in the UK and Ireland as of October 16th for free. This is just great even if you will have to agree to a £34.26 per month plan to get it free, but you’re also receiving hundreds of minutes, SMS text messages, and unlimited data and WiFi use.

If you are from Germany, then you will have to pay €483 to get it without a contract, but the subsidized units will be a whole lot cheaper than this.

Palm Pre coming to Europe is great news, and the company will be very happy as it needs to get back their financial loss in the past few quarters.
