Windows 7 looks like a pretty good operating systems which is very surprising after a couple of Microsoft failures. We don’t mind that and we certainly don’t mind that the Windows 7 release date is nearing. October 22 is only four weeks away, but what would you think if you can get it earlier? Apparently, Microsoft told custom computer makers that they can sell Windows 7-powered PCs as soon as the Redmond company sends them, and shipping has begun as of yesterday. When will the keys arrive? According to Puget Systems, on October 13th you can get yourself a Windows 7-based computer!

At the moment we don’t know if this was leaked accidentally on their website even if it would be interesting to know what Microsoft has to say about this. I guess it’s just good marketing. The software maker kept us waiting for some time and we didn’t quite understand why Windows 7 hasn’t arrived earlier.  Well, if you live near Auburn, WA then you could pre-order a computer from Puget Systems and get some of the Windows 7 flavor as soon as October 13!
