This is what all of us want. This is what we’ve been waiting for. This is how a report should look like. Thanks again iLounge for providing us the information! We’ve got new details about the Apple Tablet, some of them which we’ve never heard before. It’s very interesting so keep reading folks. iLounge’s reliable source tells us that there will be two versions of the Apple Tablet, one with 3G and the other one without 3G, and it pushes to look at the first as a giant iPhone 3GS and the latter as a giant iPod Touch.

It’s called iPad and there were at least three prototypes handed to testers, the first unit had a 7-inch screen, while the latest unit features a 10.7-inch screen. All of the iPads were based on the iPhone OS therefore now we can call the Apple Tablet a giant iPhone. The source says that the device looks like an iPhone and it has a curved back. The big screen will allow users to read books, magazines, newspapers, and more with easy, as it feature a 5-6 times bigger resolution than iPhone’s 480 x 320 screen and 7 times the touch area.

The Apple Tablet was not developed to compete against netbooks as it’s just an “iPhone OS media player light communication device” which is actually a “slate-like replacement for books and magazines.” Like aforementioned it will allow users to surface the web, multimedia playback, and gaming meaning that it could feature Nvidia Tegra inside, but there are no details about that whatsoever.

iLounge’s reliable source will probably be unveiled before January 19, 2010 while shipping will begin sometime in May or June. Don’t think that the Apple Tablet is definitely coming as there 20% chances that Steve Jobbs will call it off. Apple’s CEO might decide that the iPad is not suitable for the masses and just give up on the device.

We think that the Apple Tablet has already created too much hype therefore Steve Jobs cannot call it off. We think that the 7-inch screen is too small while the 10.7-inch screen is too big therefore we’re going with the 9.7-inch screen. It will definitely be looking like a giant iPhone, it will run iPhone OS, it will have a great resolution and it’s coming next year.
