Twitter has done it again and this time it’s Megan McCain, Senator John McCain’s daughter, who made a mistake without even imagining the power of social networking.
Ms. McCain posted a photo of her in a tanktop on Twitter, which received a lot of retweets and stirred up criticism. Ms. McCain was also holding Andy Warhol’s biography.
Considering she has over 62,000 followers on Twitter, the photo had a lot of exposure and retweets, which insured it’s instant popularity. Later, she posted messages defending herself of tweets that criticized her.

“So I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing but apparently anything other than a pantsuit I am a slut,” Meghan McCain said, which is mostly right, though the focus seems to be on what’s inside her top actually.
Some Twitter users reacted really bad and felt offended by Ms. McCain’s photo and some said she is definitely not suitable for a GOP position. Though fortunately for her, there were many more by her side.
