The Neiman Marcus Christmas book catalog has been emailed to over a million customers already and it’s one more proof we’re living rough times. Until now the gifts in the catalog were priced at $1 to 10 million, while this  year the most expensive gift is a Icon A5 aircraft with lessons included.

Last year the catalog included a $1 million golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, a $6.7 million helicopter especially for parties, and a $10 million Zeppelin.

This year’s catalog is a proof we are in a recession, because the most expensive gift is the Icon A5, priced at $250,000, with flight lessons included. We are not sure if the prices are lower because of the recession or those are the best items the company though will fit best. Though this catalog seems to be mostly made for marketing purposes and there isn’t probably anyone who buys the gifts.
