Windows 8 – 128bit in 2012?
Even if Windows 7 has not been officially launched, the new Windows 8 or 9 or whatever code will have, has been announced for 2012.
An image that leaked from the Italian Microsoft branch, creates suspicions that the next version of the Windows OS has already been planned.
The authenticity of the image cannot be verified, but is possible to be true because the announced plan of development said that the next Windows version will be developed in the next 2-3 years.
As an example, on the Linkedin Profile of Robert Morgan, Microsoft’s Senior Research & Development were some interesting information related to Windows 8.
“Working in high security department for research and development involving strategic planning for medium and long-term projects. Research & Development projects including 128bit architecture compatibility with the Windows 8 kernel and Windows 9 project plan.” click here to see the image
If this is true, then Windows 8 will have 128bit architecture. Sounds fantastic. Still, the majority of fresh installed Microsoft OS’s are 32bit. I don’t think that Windows 7 will make a significant step to 64bit architecture.
So in 3 years from now are we going to x128bit? That remains to be seen.
There might be some true facts in this information, because in April on a Microsoft Blog was posted a notice in which they search for a Software Engineer, capable of working in projects like Windows 7, in domains like clusters support, reconstruction and improvement of the kernel of Windows 8.
Also in the Microsoft Research laboratories is getting born a new type of operating system from Microsoft, named Singularity. It is said that this version of Windows will not freeze, can’t be infected by viruses, and is much faster than existing Windows versions, Mac OS or Linux.

Microsoft Windows 8 - 2012
It is said that Singularity will run directly into Kernel mode and is the fastest of all OS’s ever launched.
Since now on he is available for free download at: www.codeplex.com/singularity .
Only the time will tell if the Windows 8 or 9 is the one that now is being developed as Singularity, and only then we will know what he can do. These are very good news from Microsoft which continues to surprise us daily.

That pic is like x months old, and yes, Win 9 is also planned already and concepts of Windows 10 as well.
“Windows 8 – 128bit in 2012?” – Nonsense.
There is no such number of atoms in the known universe, so even if you record the information at the atomic level, could be an opportunity to cover the theoretical 128-bit addressing!
