I might have been wrong when I said that the age of the tablets will begin soon because it’s the age of the e-book readers. I’ve seen so many launching in the past few weeks that I’m beginning to hate them. Previously, I was asking for more eBook readers, but now I’m almost tired of them. If you are interested in an e-book reader then Alex developed by Sprint Design would be your perfect choice. Why? Because it’s a dual-screen e-book reader based on Android OS which will take care of your browsing, videos, audio, photos, notes, and sketches.

Spring Design Alex is not the eBook reader built in collaboration with Barnes & Noble, it’s “an entirely different device.” Alex features a 3.5-inch LCD screen, removable microSD card, speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi, 3G EVDO/CDMA and GSM. This means that the eBook reader will probably head to Verizon or Sprint. The second screen was built to save battery life as users can toggle content from the larger LCD via a Duet Navigator feature. Just use the option and transfer the content from the bigger screen to the EPD and you’ll notice the difference that it makes for your battery.
