Apple Also Updates AirPort Extreme Base Station and Time Capsule
If Apple updated many of its products, the Cupertino-based company couldn’t forget about the AirPort Extreme Base Station or the Time Capsule. Both devices are available right now, but they can only reach you in three days for some special prices. The good thing about the two is that they’re available for both Mac and PC so you shouldn’t feel lonely if you have a Windows-based machine.
The AirPort Extreme Base Station is an easy-to-use dual-band WiFi device which provides wireless internet access at your home, school or business. The device packs a 802.11n WiFi base station with 2.4GHz / 5GHz bands, and besides Mac and PC, it also works with iPod Touch, all iPhones, and the Apple TV. It’s available now for only $179.
The Apple Time Capsule doesn’t need any introductions, and the back-up hard drive comes with WiFi access and it’s compatible with Mac OS X and Windows machines. There are two versions available, 1TB and 2TB, and it can be all yours for $299 or $499.
