Shaquille O’Neal is looking into the possibility to retiring even before the season ends. That’s one big lie considering the fact that he’s doing pretty well with an average of 10.9 points and 6.8 rebounds (correct me if I’m wrong), while the Cleveland Cavaliers are atop of the Eastern Conference Central. The Cavs are doing great with a 15-7 record, but rumors about Shaq’s retirement have been going on for ages. Shaq hasn’t commented on the rumors yet which made some think that he’s indeed retiring.

If Shaq retires then the world of NBA will lose one of the greatest ever. Although he will retire at some point into the future, Shaq’s time has not arrived and he should remain with the Cavs at least until they’ll reach the play-offs. I’d love to see the Cavs winning this year’s NBA, but if these rumors circling around Twitter are true then millions of fans will be disappointed. I sincerely hope that this is not true, and so far Shaq’s Twitter account doesn’t say anything about his retirement.
