2016 Olympics Announcement Time At 1800 BST
Today is going to be a great day for a city in the world as at 1800 BST the British International Olympic Committee will announce the host of the 2016 Olympic Games. The race is between four cities like Chicago, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. There are two clear favorites: Chicago and Rio, while Madrid and Tokyo seem to have lost contact with the first two. However IOC member, Sir Craig Reedie, says that we shouldn’t think that the race is over as it will be a close call between all four cities.
The 2016 Olympics announcement time is at 1800 BST, that’s a couple of hours away and excitement is growing in all four cities. The 2016 Summer Olympic Games will be hosted by a city who receives the most votes and the IOC President, Jacques Rogge, said that the most important criteria is security, while behind comes the Olympic Village with the cutting-edge venues, and the transportation system.
Last time the clear favorite was Paris, but London managed to sneak the victory in the last minute. The 2016 Olympics decision is coming. What are the odds of 2016 Olympics Chicago happening? 8-15 says bookmakers. Chicago is leading thanks to President Barack Obama, added bookmakers.
Who’s going to win? We don’t know. Nobody knows. It’s a close call. 1800 BST is coming. That’s the 2016 Olympics announcement time. We’re excited, the whole world is. Stay tuned as we will let you know when something new surfaces. Also at 1800 BST we will post the winner for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
