The 2016 Olympics location has just been chosen and it’s Rio de Janeiro. After everyone found out about the location, everybody was celebrating on Rio De Janeiro’s streets.
Until now people believed that the 2016 Olympics will take place in Chicago, though there seems to be too much criminal activity in Chicago for such an event. Last week student Derrion Albert was beaten to death in Chicago with wooden planks, which probably made them change their mind about Chicago.
There are 7 years left until the Rio De Janeiro 2016 Olympics so the Brazil state has enough time to prepare, especially being the first South American country to host an event like this.
“The president was watching television when the news came across, and I think obviously the president is disappointed, as you might imagine,” reported ABC News about President Barack Obama.
Fortunately Rio de Janeiro is known all over the world for their great parties and ceremonies, so they have some experience with organizing events, though this is now just a simple party. Hopefully they will do a good job and make everyone feel good at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics.
