Asus is the developer of the most renowned series of netbooks – the EEE PC series. Here is the Asus EEE PC 900A WFBB01 netbook which is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor and GNU Linux OS.

The Asus EEE PC 900A-WFBB01 netbook measures 8.86 x 6.7 x .79-1.33 inch and weighs 2.20 lbs. This netbook is not too big and not too small. You can say that it’s perfect as it’s very portable, has a small screen, but you can still “see” your background and apps properly. The Asus EEE PC 900A is based on a LED backlit 8.9-inch display with a 1024 x 600 resolution which is OK as you don’t need something better to play games because you won’t play games. The ASUS EEE PC 900A WFB01 netbook is running on a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 4GB SSD, 1GB of RAM, Intel UMA graphics card, and Li-ion battery which provides up to 4 hours of battery life. Then you should you a notebook, not a netbook as this device has enough specs to allow you to run a few IM apps, Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox or other browsers, to check your email using Outlook or Thunderbird, or to view images/videos.

The Asus EEE PC 900A-WFBB01 netbook features a built-in 802.11b/g WLAN, hi-definition stereo speakers, built-in microphone, SD/MMC expansion card slot, OpenOffice, Skype, and 50 more pre-installed applications. Well, this device was built for Internet and other office apps; it runs great so you couldn’t ask for more.

The ASUS EEE PC 900A WFB01 comes in Pearl White for a price between $200 to $300 depending on your retailer and maybe recession-related discounts.
