Swine Flu virus is also called the H1N1 and infections have already been identified all over the world. Most cases have been identified in Mexico, which then extended to the US, including New Jersey, New York, California, and more. New Zealand, Spain, Canada and Israel have also been infected.

CDC is investigating the issue, but it takes a lot of time to estimate the number of cases, so Google helps it via Google Maps and Search Trends. CDC’s Emergency Operations Center has been activated and it coordinates the research and investigations over Swine Flu infections, working with officials from Canada, Mexico, and World Health Organization.

  • Missing 3 in wisconsin and 1 minnesota (from last week!)- so much for real time! I’d call it more like map from a week or so back of where swine flu was.

  • My brother got infected with H1N1 or Swine Flu in Mexico. He got a mild fever and luckily he did not die.

  • i think that in asian countries the Swine Flu did not spread rapidly compared to those countries that are located in colder climates. we should still be very thankful that the swine flu did not cause massive infections.

  • 2 of my cousins in mexico got infected with the swine flu virus. thank God, they recovered well. it is a great news that the pandemic on swine flu is gone now.
